Fondazione Luigi Rovati is awarded the Cultural Heritage Preservation Fellowship 2024

We are pleased to announce that Fondazione Luigi Rovati, Milan (Italy) has been named the recipient of the 2024 Etruscan Foundation Cultural Heritage Preservation Fellowship Award. This honor recognizes their exceptional dedication to the study, conservation, and promotion of Etruscan culture and Tuscany’s rich heritage.

Fondazione Luigi Rovati’s work spans archaeology, art history, and innovative artistic expression as a tool for social welfare. Through exhibitions, conferences, research support, and educational initiatives, they continue to deepen public understanding and appreciation of the region’s ancient past.

The award supported important conservation treatments of select Etruscan artifacts from the Fondazione’s permanent collection. These restored objects are now on display in the exhibition “Vulci. Goods for Mankind. Goods for Gods,” offering visitors a unique glimpse into the material culture of the Etruscans.

We congratulate Fondazione Luigi Rovati on this well-earned recognition and look forward to their ongoing contributions to cultural heritage preservation.
